📍 Starting at The Menard House (1605 33rd St., Galveston, TX 77550)

Family and friends, it's time once again to honor our shared history and walk the path of remembrance, resilience, and legacy.

We'll begin our pilgrimage at the historic Menard House, walk together to Avenue L. Baptist Church for a tribute to the Thomas Family, then share lunch at noon (location to be announced after headcount). If walking isn't for you, you're still welcome—just meet us at each location by car!

We’ll close our weekend in worship at Avenue L. Baptist Church on Sunday at 11:00 AM.

Juneteenth Pilgrimage Tour

The Menard House and Event Center
1605 33rd St, Galveston, TX 77550

Our Juneteenth Pilgrimage Tour will start at the Menard House at 9 AM. The bus will leave at 9:15. We will go to several landmarks in Galveston connected to Thomas and Juneteenth history.

There will be multiple stops along the way where you will be able to explore, shop, and eat. Our final stop will be at the Pleasure Pier at the Galveston beach, where several restaurants and amusement park rides are available.

Our bus will shuttle people from the Pleasure Pier to the back to the Menard House starting at 11:45 AM.
